I am Josh Duncan, founder and owner of Slacker AV LLC. I got my start in this industry, while still in high school, doing Cowboys Thanksgiving Day Halftime shows and building stages and shows for small concerts all over DFW. I moved on to collage around 2005, and then on to a corporate career outside the industry until 2017, then I felt the pull to come back. Slacker Audio Visual LLC was established six years later in 2023, after mastering essential ground-level roles and developing the technical skills to support a growing list of clients and roles. This hands-on journey provided the foundation for our well rounded understanding of multiple types of live production environments.
Today, we bridge the gap between complex hardware and seamless show delivery. We specialize in serving as a trusted technical extension for our corporate production company partners, but also perform well in large entertainment production event teams. By operating as a dedicated resource for agencies and event teams, we handle the heavy lifting for onsite execution.
Our primary focus is helping clients deliver total excellence and absolute consistency to their shows, every single time.
